VTech - DECT 6.0 Review

The Vtech Dect 6.0 was not a product that I purchased. I had talked with my husband for several weeks about needing to get a new cordless phone as our old one was wearing out. We have two floors in our house and I wanted something with extra handsets so I don't have to constantly run up and down the stairs. And I wanted something with an answering machine so we don't have to pay for voicemail. He surprised me by shopping around (a first, lol), and found this phone with two handsets for upstairs AND an answering machine on the main handset. I love this phone, the sound quality is great, it has a huge phonebook, and it doesn't heat up after being on the phone a while like some handsets do. The only thing I've found about the phone that I do not like is you have to scroll through the phonebook to the number you need to call. You can't enter the first letter of the name or number like you can on a cell phone. I don't know if there are any cordless phones with that ability yet, but other than that its been awesome and easy enough for my four year old to make calls on his own (not always a good idea though, lol). I would definately recommend this phone as it is very well priced for such good quality.
