VTech - 5.8 GHz Quad Line Cordless Phone Review

Hello Everyone! My name is Laura and I am going to write a review on the Vtech 5.8 GHz landline cordless phone with three additional handsets. The first thing I can say is WHAT A DEAL!! I usually shop at Sams Club if I am looking for electronics such as printers, phones and cameras just to give me an idea of a price point. Sams doensn't have nearly the choices of others stores like Computer City, Office Depot, etc. but if they do have something you like it is always a better price there.

I usually always use my cell phone to conduct all my phone calls on but since I need a fax line at home I chose to get something that wasn't going to cost too much. I paid $39 dollars for this phone and the additional handsets. The phones call can be transferred from phone to phone depending on where you have put the handsets and it has a built in directory as well. Anytime you get a call and you want to keep the number you are able to list the name and number of the caller. The phone sets are quite compact and don't take up a lot of counter space which is very nice. There is a built in answering machine and you can also put all the other services on it as well such as call waiting, forwarding, etc. depending on your phone carrier. The only downfall to this phone in my opinion is that there is no speaker phone and if you get too far from the base you begin to pick up alot of static but for the price you definately get what you paid for. There is a place where you can plug in a earpiece so that you are able to use both hands if need be while you are on the phone.

I have purchased one of the other models of this phone that was more expensive and I was very pleased with it. You could download photos so you could see (literally) who was calling you and the voice and sound quality was much better. Vtech has several price points which is nice in this day and age!
