I went in for a pedicure the other day and decided to try a new place in the town I used to live in. Everything was going well, the pedicure was decent and I left without anyone really saying goodbye - but hey, I overlooked that except now I am realizing this place has 2 faces... the nice 1/2 an hour face and then the dont comeback here to say we did something wrong face - this was a totally unexpected experience. I was on my way home from the pedicure when I noticed that my pants looked really wet... except they werent wet, the lady who did my pedicure forgot to wash off the oil she had massaged my legs with and now my NEW $40 pants were soaked in oil. I called to let them know and the man acknowledged me as having just been there and said - "you bring me back the pants, i take care of for you"... so I did the next day & $10 in gas later. So today I went back for the pants and $10 in gas later the owner comes running from the back room saying - "here are your pants, all clean!" or something to that effect, well I was amazed because if these cleaners could get out oil then I had a lot of ruined clothes I would like them to take care of!!! BUT WOULDNT YOU KNOW IT, I unwrapped the pants to look at them right in front of him and every oil spot was still there. So I said, these pants are still ruined and he said - "we take them back to the cleaners and talk to them" I told him it was pointless, but I guess he thought they were magicians or something so we went over there only to have them tell us that it would be impossible to fix - NO WAY! So the man says - "what do you want me to do?" I said - pay for the pants I have to replace... he went nuts, probably cursed me out in his language a few times and then said if I didnt leave he would call the police. So now I paid $40 in services, $40 in damages, and $20 in gas - and I thought I would share my story just in case someone is wondering where they should or shouldnt take their business... these people obviously do not value their customers.
