Earlier this week I stopped to analyze what I had eaten over the past few days, and realized that I had eaten very little fruits and vegetables.  I was feeling pretty bad about that, and while shopping i saw the V8-Fusion juices.  I thought that I would give them a try since they are made of both fruits and vegatables.  A Full serving of fruit and a full serving of vegetables to be exact.  I bought a couple of the 12 oz single serve bottles.  One of them was the V8 V-Fusion Strawberry Banana.

Each serving contains 1/2 cup of vegetables and 1/2 cup of fruit.

The fruits and vegetables used in the V8 V-Fusion Strawberry Banana are: Sweet Potatoes, carrots, tomatoe, beets, white grapes, orages, apples, strawberries, and purified bananas. It contains Antioxidants and contains A-C-E-B6.  There is also potasium and magnesium.

There is no additional added sugar, but because of all the natural sugar in the friuts it still has 38 grams of sugar and 42 grams of carbohydrates.  There are also 110 mg's of sodium, and 380 grams of potasium.  The only real problem I have with this is that it has 170 calories, that seems like quite a bit to me for something that is made of fruits and vegetables.

As for the taste it is pretty good.  It tastes like fruit punch on steroids.  The taste is very strong, very sweet, and a little bit tangy.  It might be a bit much for kids, but as an adult I like it.  I am however weary of the extra calories. So I don't know if I will drink this a lot, the last thing I need is more calories.  I will probably stick to regular V8 that has just 30 calories per serving,

I do recommend this it certainly tastes good enough and provids a lot of fruits and vegetables, so if you find that you just are not getting enough fruits and vegetables and you don't like regular V8 you might want to drink a serving of V-A Fruit Fusion.
