I've tossed away the corn-syrup-filled fruit juices in my house and I've been replacing them with healthier versions. (I'm not giving up my Dr. Pepper just yet...). I came across the V8-Fusion Pomegranate Blueberry drink in Florida while on vacation a year ago.
We polished off the entire bottle quickly. It is a delicious drink and with a "full serving of fruits and vegetables," and I feel good about drinking it. It is not a low calorie drink and contains 23 grams of sugar which makes it 100 calories per serving but compared to drinking pop, it is a healthy alternative.
The 46-ounce bottle contains six servings and sells for approximately three dollars per bottle. If you don't like the regular V-8 drink but want to get some health benefits, this drink is a tasty alternative. It contains a vegetable juice blend (sweet potatoes, purple carrots, tomatoes and carrots). My only concern is that the fruit concentrate also contains apples and I wonder if there is way more apple juice concentrate than the blueberry and pomegranate. For that reason, I have it rated at a four.
Overall, this is a fruit/vegetable drink that is delicious!
