So this movie has high acclaim, many high ratings, my friends are raving about it, and is even in imdb as the top 250 movies of all times... yet... I'm still not so sure about this!

Plot
This movie is placed in Great Britain during a time of oppression. Evey stays out past curfew and almost gets caught....

When Alan Moore and David Lloyd’s UK comics series V for Vendetta was released in the USA on DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, I was of course duly impressed, as I have been with every piece of Moore’s work that I’ve read. I found this very worth watching.
a fan of clever plots

This film kept me interested in the story all the way through. The political under tones and innuendo were quite humorous. They were not at all hard to find, in fact some points were repeated over and over, but most puns (visual and verbal) were cleverly interspersed.

If you want a cinematic masterpiece look no farther than "V for Vendetta." Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving deliver like no others. Natalie Portman's performance after exiting the jail cell was simply riveting, please see this movie.
