Usual Suspects Review

I absolutely love this movie. It is a great showcase for both the actors and the director. It has a great amount of bonus features as well; including a hilarious gag meal - a must see for any fan. This movie will appeal to a wide range of interests; from suspense to drama and action to even comedy. It's one of the best Kevin Spacey movies, up there with Se7en and American Beauty. I also loved Benicio del Toro's character; his accent, mannerisms and eyebrows are hilarious in this. Gabriel Byrne delivers a solid performance and Stephen Baldwin and Kevin Pollack offer some of the best quotes. The story line is genius and Bryan Singer does a great job directing it. Considering that this movie is almost fifteen years old now, it still hasn't lost it's edge. The script is fantastic, but the language is a little much, so this is definitely not a movie for children or those easily offended. The story is intense and only gets better as it unravels.
