Hoover U5491900 Anniversary WindTunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
I bought this vacuum 8 months ago after careful consideration of reviews online, as well as Consumer Reports. I have an average household with children, 2 cats, and a low-ish pile carpet due to dust allergies in the family. This Hoover Wind Tunnel model worked oh so well for the first 1-2 months. After that, I was unclogging it every time I went to use it. I had to pull it outside to unclog it every use because the clogs were so bad, they made huge messes-then the vacuum would not clean the mess after I unclogged each time! I replaced bags a 1/4 full. I finally called Hoover for...
review »Hoover Widepath Tempo Vacuum
This is a great vacuum and we only paid $100 for it. My husband and I bought it as newlyweds as we needed a vacuum, and we didn't have a lot of money to spend on one. It seemed to be the best vacuum we could find for the price, so we took it and hoped for the best. I really like it; it's served us well over the last few years and we've never had a single problem with it. It has allergen filtration and other features. The ones I like are that it has a filter bag check on the front, which shows you how full the bag is with a little red bar that slowly rises as the bag gets full. How handy is that!...
review »Dyson Animal DC17 All Floor Vacuum
I work at a small company and we recently needed a new vacuum. My coworker was dying to get a Dyson, so we decided to get one. It was more expensive than the boss wanted to pay, but since we heard nothing but good reviews he figured it was worth the investment. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. I will admit the business does get plenty of foot traffic, so vacuuming every night it needed to pick up a lot of dirt. But even so, after the first month it did not pick up as much, and now about 6 months later it hardly picks up anything at all. It is not very powerful and...
review »Dyson DC15 Animal Vacuum
I love the Dyson vacuum cleaners. When I purchased my Dyson, I had 6 cats and they was hair all over my house. I had another bran vacuum cleaner for 2 years and it broke and wouldn't suck up anything. The bags were a mess and it was hard to handle.
So I sprung for a Dyson. I have now had it for 5 years and it's still going strong just like the day that I bought it. It is easy to use and take apart if there is a problem with something getting clogged in it. You can also clean up an entire flight of stairs while the heavy base unit is on the bottom level which is easy on the stairs, the...
review »Bissel Pet Cyclonic Upright Vacuum Vacuum
My old vacuum decided to quit working one day. I have two large dogs so I needed a new vacuum pronto!! I seen this vacuum and thought it looked promising considering the fact that PET is in the name of the product. I really debated on if I wanted to get a bagless vacuum. The price was right so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. (If I didn't like it I could always get another vacuum in a couple months and use this one downstairs) As soon as I got home I assembled it and decided to give it a test run. I was shocked at how much hair was on the carpet along with all the dirt and...
review »Dyson dc25 Vacuum
We were going to buy the DC07, but decided the DC25 was worth the upgrade....boy, were we right!!!
The main clencher is the ease of using the attachment tools, with the DC25, you just extend the telescoping pole, and, voila! you're ready to go!{the DC07 requires plugging/unplugging to use the attachment tools} I found myself attacking every corner and groove with specks of dirt/cobwebs in it (LOVE this thing for cleaning the ac intake grates and the fins of our air filters!)...most of them without ever having to bend over.
Of course there is the fantastic suction, but then, you expect that from...
Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum
I love my Dyson Animal Vacuum! I never have a loss of suction and that says a lot because we have 4 kids, 2 dogs and other small animals that we clean up after. My daughter and I have long hair so every so often I do flip it over and clean off the roller brushes on the bottom, but I have had to do that with any vacuum we owned. It came with a hard floor attachment, a brush attachment and crevice tool. We use them all! My only complaints would be that the hard floor tool does not attach to the vacuum when not in use and because we are always vacuuming up lots of people and dog hair that sometimes...
review »Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum
I read many reviews and decided on this vacuum after reading everything about it. Please do NOT waste your money! i have 3 pets.......1 Lab, 1 English Mastiff and a cat plus 2 boys ages 12 and 15. I vacuum every day! This vacuum lasted 5 months. First the wheel adjustment broke, then the seal on the hose. And I absolutely HATE the canister! When you need to empty it alot falls out onto the vacuum or the floor. Its quite messy. You will be very disappointed with this product as I am. I am now looking for another vacuum.
Dyson DC 10 All Floor Vacuum
I looked at lots of vacuums before I bought my dyson. I had probably gone through ten different vacuum cleaners in the last 15 years. I bought cheap ones, and was disappointed with them all. I bought an expensive electrolux, and found that it clogged in the hoses, and lost suction. Not to mention the cost of the bags, they were high priced and hard to find.
I checked lots of online sites, consumers reports, and talked to lots of dealers and other consumers before I bought the dyson. My sister had three indoor pets that shed at the time, and she loved her dyson. Then my brother and his...
