I saw the movie Up in theatres this weekend and first off I thought it was a good and cute movie. However, I was in the movie theatre with my boyfriend and about ten families that all had children about under the age of 10 and then about five families with children over or about the age of ten. I found that when there were parts in the movie that were obviously funny, then the children had a good time and enjoyed the movie. However, there were alot of parts in the movie that were not laugh out loud funny and the children that were in the movie theatre were bored and getting restless. Which in turn caused the parents to get irritated at their children and telling them to be quiet, to sit down, and to pay attention; even though the parents were being louder than their children were in the first place. This was a good movie but it was not for the age group it advertised to be. If their were less complicated parts to understand in the movie, maybe the children that were there to watch it would have liked it better.
