Up & Up Sport Sunscreen works well but doesn't wash off easily.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When I was buying supplies for our Cozumel trip, I picked up a few cans of Up & Up Sport Sunscreen Continuous Spray SPF 50.  My husband has fair skin that burns easily and neither of us went tanning to prepare our skin for the sun, so I knew I needed to bring a fair amount of strong sunblock with us.

I started with this stuff on my entire body for the first two days, but eventually moved to using it exclusively on my upper back because I could easily apply it there by myself without having to have a friend or my husband help me.  This Up and Up Sport Sunscreen Continuous Spray is sold exclusively at Target as part of their in-house line.  I paid about $1 less per bottle for this product instead of the comparable Coppertone Continuous Spray.

I have been very happy with this *Up&Up Sport Sunscreen Continuous Spray SPF 50.  *When applied consistently throughout the day, it protected my skin from burning even in tropical sunshine.  My main complaint is the fact that this stuff sticks so well to skin (thank you, "spray from any angle") that it is very difficult to remove from skin.  I can't reach the middle of my back easily and I simply can't wash it off by myself.  In fact, I wind up waiting for my husband to come back to the room so he can scrub my back with a mesh sponge or wash cloth to completely remove it.

Still, it gets the job done for less than $3 a can, so I will deal with the fact that it sticks to my back like shellac.  Recommended!

Scent
Rated 3 out of 5

This stuff smells like sunscreen: slightly chemical but not offensive or strong enough to irritate allergies.

Absorption
Rated 2 out of 5

Spray sunscreen tends to form a coating on skin rather than actually absorbing into skin.

Longevity
Rated 3 out of 5

We tend to reapply this product every 2-3 hours just to ensure that we aren't going to wind up with burned skin.

Effectiveness
Rated 5 out of 5

This sunscreen does an excellent job of protecting skin from overexposure to UV rays.

Ease of application
Rated 5 out of 5

This sunscreen comes in a spray bottle so it is super-easy to completely cover all of your exposed skin including your back with just the touch of the top button.
