University of Wisconsin-Madison Review

I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000-2003 (I finished in 3.5 years). Not only is the student body diverse, but the faculty is incredible. I had wonderful professors from a range of backgrounds, and most were truly effective teachers. TA's were awesome as well. The city of Madison offers so much- I wish I would have taken advantage of more than I did while I was there. State Street has so much character and great restaurants and bars. The athletics are great too. The whole city has so many activities and so many things to do. I met so many wonderful people while I went to school there and still remain in touch with many of them today. I majored in Psychology there and am currently finishing graduate school in psychology. I felt very prepared for graduate school following my training at Madison. I had several professors in the department who were very open and approachable. I feel very proud when I report where I obtained my bachelor's degree because UW-Madison has a fantastic reputation and lives up to that reputation.
