    leading research and facilites, many many many student orgs, unique, cheaper big ten school, good selection of restaurants, shops, great education, large variety of classes

University of Wisconsin-Madison — 

The University of Wisconsin occupies a very important place amongst State Universities. Bold, and willing to embrace and maintain programs not available at other schools, UW is a leader in inovation and scholarship.  I fondly remember my time in Madison and  plan to finish my PHD some day there in its unique environment.
