I work full-time and have kids at home, but I need to finish my college degree in order to move into management at work. When I applied at this university I was led to understand that I would finish up within 2 years, but 3 years later my advisor told me I needed more classes. I started taking coursework with 3 friends, all of whom have switched to other schools.
Although classes met one night per week, I had to work with a team outside of class which was very time consuming and problematic. Not only was it very difficult to rearrange our schedules to meet, I also received a low grades in some classes because although my own work surpassed standard, my teammate(s) did not contribute their part to our group project!
The "convenient" online format was fine... when it works. We were required to print off curriculum which may, or may not, be accessible... and when it did work, that's extra paper and ink that I paid for at home. Speaking of cost, beware of cost increases which can pop up and surprise you. Not only did extra fees show up unexpectedly regularly on my bill, half way through this last 5 week course I took the fees and cost per credit hour increased.
I would not recommend this school to anyone.
