I decided to attend the University of Phoenix since it was the only school that would accept my credits from Heald College in Honolulu, Hawaii. The "Acacademic Advisor" seemed more like a passive aggressive Army recruiter. He tried to toss all these facts like, "Shaq got a degree from us", like that was supposed to get me to sign up right away. Anyhow, at first I thought he was genuine in trying to help me pursue my college education but soon found out I was being suckered into enrolling. Once I enrolled, all of his promises to keep in contact and answer any of my questions soon turned into unanswered phone calls and the run-around. I don't agree with how the school grades their students. Everything is based off of team projects pretty much, which means if you're like me who works hard and some what of an over acheiver, you will find yourself frustrated with having to take responsibility for those who decide not to put as much work as the rest of their team (had that happen on several occassions). Now I'm a firm believer in team work; however, if almost 70% of my grade is based on that then I'd rather enroll somewhere else and I reccommend others like me do the same.
