My experience with the University of Phoenix online campus has been incredible. I am currently in the Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice program, and I am having a lot of fun. My classes are challanging; however, I feel like I am accomplishing something right. The University of Phoenix does offer other classes and other degrees online, such as IT programs, management programs, and many others that are too many to list here. If anyone is looking to earn a degree while working full time, or you do not have a way to get to a physical college campus, such as myself, then University of Phoenix might be for you. You can access their website, www.phoenix.edu and chat with a live representative from the school. They will get some information from you and have an enrollement counselor call you soon after. When I did that, it made all of the difference. I am a stay-at-home daughter at this time taking care of my mom, the house, my fiance, and the dog. I chose to get my degree online so that I could care for my mother after her surgery last year. The University of Phoenix online campus has been a life saver. Since many jobs require that you have at least an Associates degree, this gives me the chance to prove to myself that I can attend college and succeed in life. I am going to school for something that I really want to do. I want to work in an environment that does not truly feel like work. University of Phoenix is giving me this opportunity. I want to work as a probation or parole officer. All of my councelors and representatives have been wonderful and have provided me with an experience that will last a life time. The classes are 9 weeks long, and you only take two classes at a time. Yes it is challenging; however, it makes you want to succeed even more. Whenever I have had a question regarding either my account, my grades, or my classes, my instructors, representatives, and councelors have always been there to answer my questions and provide assistance whenever I needed help. Whenever I have called or emailed them, they have gotten back to me within twenty-four hours. They have been so professional with me and so understanding that it has made all the difference in how I have viewed myself as a student. I am doing better than I ever did in High School, and the experience has really helped me understand, not only how important college in and of itself is, but also how important ones outlook on college is. That is definitly a facter in how well you do in this type of college setting. The University of Phoenix also has so many other resources that are readily available to use, such as life coaches, psycologists to help with issues any time, and other things that have been helpful. The cost of tuition was affordable as well. My Fincancial Aid covered all of the costs, and I even got money back so that I can pay my bills. It is an amazing feeling to know that once I get my degree that I can finally start doing something that I want to do and have a lot of interest in, so that I can help other people, and hopefully incourage them to better themselves by going back to school if they do not have a college degree. I hope to be able to get my Bacholer's degree as well as my Masters degree using the University of Phoenix online campus. I would love to be able to teach in this subject one day while I am working in the Criminal Justice System. Going to the University of Phoenix and using the online campus has been a tremendous help in making sure that once I graduate, I will have a job that is guarenteed and that I know I will have security and stability in. The University of Phoenix has also given me the opportunity to be able to provide for my family, as well as myself, so that when my fiance and I get married, we will be not only stable, but financially ready as well to have a family of our own, and we can fight for his daughter. Another thing that has helped is that the University of Phoenix has a satellite campus in my area that I can go to so that if I have any problems with school work or if my computer or internet is down, I can go there so that I can stay on top of my assignments and my classes and still be able to go to school. Getting to the satellite campus can be a challenge when you do not have a working car; however when you can easily get to the satellite campus, it can be a true help because of also having licensed tutors and teachers there to help with homework or other things for your classes. I do not think I can praise the University of Phoenix online campus enough for how much they have helped me and how much I am learning from them. This is one of the best experiences that I have had in a long time, and it is one that I will remember probably till the day I die. So check out the University of Phoenix and see if it is the right school for you.
