Must have great time management to succeed

a serious student, a good test taker, into the social scene
Cons
    Easy to be tempted by non-academics, When it rarely rains, it is miserable

I just graduated after four years at UCSB, and while I have incredibly great memories, I know that this school is definitely not for everyone.  Successful UCSB students have incredible time management.  You need to know when to study and know when to party, and not succomb to the constant temptation of the non-academic surroundings.
