UC Davis is great, both professors and people here are awesome

University of California-Davis —

UC Davis is fantastic for many reasons, including the many different options for students, the quality professors and teaching assistants, and the different activities available to students. First and foremost, the quality of academics is very good. I have had many great professors here, along with wonderful teaching assistants who make sure you understand the material and go out of their way to help you. Also, the social scene here is decent for those looking for morefrom their college experience, with many fraternities and sororities, parties, and events sceduled by the university, but it is just the right amount. Plus, Davis is very clean and environmentally friendly, which is a big plus.

My problems with Davis include its large price. $20,000+ for a public school is definitely pricey. Also, Davis obviously has not invested so much in its team sports, the football team is quite unimpressive. Plus, Davis is a small town, and not much is going on all the time, so for some people it can be a little boring. Overall, I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
