I signed up for a Medicare Supplement plan with these folks 4 years ago. They were 5 stars all the way. The process was good, the agent informed and helpful, they compared plans and got me the best fit and all went very well. After a year I noticed I did not get the supposed anniversary call to let me know if my plan was still the best for me. Recently based on this good previous experience my wife and I called to get her set up. No agents were available so I left the call back. A young man called and immediately without asking what I wanted tried to sell me an insurance policy for death benefits. I told him 5 times ... 5 times ..... that we were trying to get my wife signed up for a Medicare supplement and that all my funeral act expenses were paid for. We confirmed he could actually hear me. The guy would not listen and just kept repeating the sales pitch and did not offer to transfer me or anything of the sort to handle the reason for our call. Finally he hung up on us. I left a another call back which has not been returned ... yet. We took care of the sign up ourselves with the provider we wanted since we already knew what we wanted but had hoped they would confirm it and help with signup. In my opinion this outfit has slipped grossly from what they were 4-5 years ago. I cannot recommend them at all which I had previously done to friends based on my initial good experience. Find some one else as there are many who do this now.

I spoke with United medicare advisors several times and bought a part B supplement from United Medicare advisors. They gave me bad information that caused me to have to wait an extra year to get on medicare. This mistake cost me $23,500 in cobra payments and deductibles. They admitted to me that their agent Kyle made a mistake but refused to compensate me. I am hiring an attorney. Don't trust what they say their agents are not well trained. I was so overwhelmed by a ton of solicitations I started receiving in the mail when I became close to Medicare age. I called United Medicare Advisors and was so fortunate to have had Mr. Tyrel Anderson answer that call. He stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour, listening to my concerns. He then took his time explaining several policies until we found one that "fit." I asked him the same questions over and over until I "got it" and he never once made me feel like I was stupid, or a bother. He was obviously there to help me, not judge me. I have had to call him three additional times and even when he was not available, I got a call back very quickly. He was just the best of the best and United Medicare is fortunate to have someone of his caliber on their team. I have already recommended him to a friend who is nearing retirement age. She was exhibiting the same anxiety I had felt and I told her that Tyrel would be able to help her sort through everything, as he did me. He also did not "push" as some of the other companies had been doing with me. Ask for his help and you will get the best of what he can offer, don't ask and he will not bother you at all. I can't say enough good things about this gentle and kind individual - He made a stressful situation stress-free.

Truly, one of the best 'clicks' I ever made on the internet was on the UNITED MEDICARE ADVISORS web site. Ethan found the best company for us to use and saved us a lot of money each year. Wow!
