Unisom sleepgels —

About the product: The only thing that might be worse than not sleeping is having trouble swallowing a sleep-aid. Unisom SleepGels contain the #1 pharmacist recommended ingredient, diphenhydramine HCl (50 mg), in an easy-to-swallow softgel form that makes it easier to fall asleep fast. Our liquid-filled softgels leave no chalky taste behind and have a proven record of promoting safe, restful sleep. So don't let a pill stand in your way of a good night's sleep, choose SleepGels and start sleeping faster.

I have had trouble falling asleep for years now...ever since I used to work a 3am shift and could really never get on a good track after that.  I am the type of person who wants to fall asleep when my head hits the pillow and not wake up until my alarm wakes me in the morning.  Once or twice a week now I will need a sleep aid to get my body on the right sleeping "clock"...and Unisom is the best for it.  I only need to take one SleepGel and I am ready for bed in about 30-60 minutes.  I stay asleep all night and wake up feeling reseted (as long as I get the recommended 8 hours).  I do not recommend taking a sleep aid unless you are able to devote at least 8 hours to sleeping. I have made the mistake of taking one, sleeping for 6 hours and waking up feeling like crap and almost falling asleep at the wheel of my car.  Just dont do it...always read the directions on the labels and follow them!!

Final thoughts:  A great sleep aid that helps you fall asleep fast

Yeah, I have heard Benadryl makes people drowsy---I have never needed to take it for any other reason, so its never in my med. cabinet.

I'm afraid to take sleep aids. I think I won't wake up or something. I do take Benadryl when I'm wound up and that makes me drowsy.
