I discovered this little funky place - called Unique Freaque -  after visiting the Oak Park Post Office next door.  The owner reps undiscovered artists representing a wide spectrum of goods from hand painted notecards to large wire sculptures.  The jewelry rivals those in many boutiques in the malls.  A great place to go for gifts and unusual pieces.  Ask the sales people about the origin of the items - they really know and are happy to share.
