Uniflame 40,000 BTU 3-Burner Gas Grill GBC920W —

When we bought our house, the first purchase we made was our Uniflame 40,000 BTU 3-Burner Gas Grill.  My husband had been waiting to get his grill for weeks, and we were really excited that this one only cost $125 at Walmart, even though it was the height of the summer season and was full price.  It took us a little while to assemble.  There are a TON of parts, and some of the directions were not clear on which way items should be attached.  So there were several times we had to remove, reverse, and re-attach different parts.  The propane tank (not included) was easy to attach.

The Uniflame 40,000 BTU 3-Burner Gas Grill is a great-looking grill: it has a stainless steel front and a black steel cart and lid.  There's a shelf on the left for resting items, and a burner on the right-hand side.  Two wheels make this grill easy to move around on the patio or deck, so you can easily accomodate for changes in the breeze, room for seating, and storing it in a different area than you want to cook.

There are two shelves in the grill: the bottom cooking surface has fairly thick slats so smaller pieces are less likely to fall through onto the grate below.  There is also a warming rack above the cooking surface...nice for keeping things hot while the rest is cooking, toasting buns, and making hotdogs for those who don't like "black stuff" on theirs!  Because there are two adjustment knobs for the cooking surface, you have a lot of control over how hot you make the grill, and you can make one side cooler than the other if you're making foods that need to be cooked at different temperatures.  So you can make sure you're cooking at the right heat, there's a thermometer on the lid.  This grill heats quickly, so this is a great feature to avoid burning or overcooking meats!  Clean-up is easy.  We scrub the racks down, heat it up to burn off anything extra, and wipe down the outside. Good as new!

We were most happy that we had our grill when our entire region lost electricity for over a week in September of 2008.  Because of the added burner on the side, we were able to cook up some of the perishable foods we had that could not be grilled so we lost a little bit less.  This was a great purchase, was a great price, and we are thrilled with the use we've gotten from it over the first year in our new home!

Thanks so much! We use it year-round, and even in the winter, it works really well.
