Summary — When we first got the Uniden Cordless phone system, I was instantly in love. And, it has been a long lasting love affair. The Uniden offers everything you need in one phone system- an answering machine, intercom system, multiple handsets with cradles, and a do not disturb feature. — My favorite Uniden Feature — I love that the Uniden is super easy to use and intuitive. I especially like the super stealth, DO NOT DISTURB feature. Basically, you press do not disturb and it turns your ringer off. Your phone now lights… read full review »

I've had this phone for over a year and love it.  The single base, multiple handset design allowed me to get rid of almost all my other phones (I kept an old fashioned corded one to use when the power went out).  My favorite feature is the speakerphone on the handset.  It has good volume and you can stand the handset up in the middle of the table and let the kids talk to grandma. — Never had any issues with interference or range, although I've not tried to take it very far out of the house.  — As far as durability goes, I've never dropped one, but I left… read full review »

I am notorious for leaving cordless phones around the house.  The base allows me to place and answer calls without the handset sitting there.   Battery life is excellent.  Phone is quite durable.  I have dropped it numerous times and have had no problems.  I have phone set on do not disturb all of the time and I can still use find feature to locate handset.  I owudl choose the same phone if available when I go to replace it and woudl certainly look at Uniden phones if this model were not available whenever I need to replace it in the… read full review »

I have had rotten luck when it came to cordless phones for my house.  Either they lose their charge too quickly or else they just stop working.  I was about to buy a Panasonic set that was really expensive when a friend told me to try this Uniden.  They found these phones to be really reliable and actually cost less.   So, I decided to give the Uniden a try.   I love it and guess what its been several weeks and I still have phone service.  I can hardly believe that something cheeper works better,  but it… read full review »

PRICE: — The price is usually pretty fair for what you get, if you shop around. — — QUALITY: — The quality of sound on these phones is good, as long as you are in range. If you go out of range, it's spotty.  The range isn't nearly as far as they say. When they say X feet, they mean in an open field, with good weather. They don't mean through brick walls, tiled bathrooms, etc. — My base unit is in the kitchen, and in the 3rd bedroom down the hall, the phone sometimes won't hang up on a call, it beeps and says out of range. — — FEATURES: —… read full review »

After shopping around for a new phone, I stumbled across this beauty at Fred Meyer after Thanksgiving. I noticed right away that it had many if not all of the same features as the V-Tech I had previously considered buying. The main thing that made me buy this model: it was half the cost of the V-Tech. One of the best features, is the ability to scan for the best, most clear channel to talk on. It is also headset compatible, so its great for all of you hands free users out there. All in all, I would give it an 8 out of… read full review »

After several years, the base went out on our Uniden but we still decided to stick with the same brand.  We upgraded to the 5.8ghz and went with a home base that had a cordless handset (whereas our old one had a corded handset).  We are extremely happy with the ease of use and quality.  The only drawback is that you have to store your names and numbers separately into each handset and/or base - it's not a global setting that applies to all phones once you store a… read full review »

Nice phone. I like the fact that it came (from BJs) with two sets and two bases. I like that you can transfer calls. That way, whoever picks it up in one room can just send it to someone else in another room with a touch of a button. Sleek phones that have great reception. I also like the answering machine portion and the caller ID. I wish the caller ID were easier to read. —… read full review »

I love these phones. I purchased them at BJ's, four in a package. They are great because you can transfer calls and they have the caller ID function. I do wish you could read the display better however. Overall a great phone with perfect reception. I would recommend purchasing these phones. Good quality and good… read full review »

This is a great phone system, especially for the money.  My favorite feature is that it only requires one phone jack for multiple handsets, which is a huge plus in my older home.  I purchased the 3-handset version and have one on each level of my home.  Highly… read full review »

I truely love these phones. I love that they have a transfer button and that you have the handset and base. They also have caller id which is great, except that it is sometimes hard to read since it is small. I would recomend buying these phones… read full review »
