Uniden - TRU8885-3 Trio Cordless Phone Review

Summary
When we first got the Uniden Cordless phone system, I was instantly in love. And, it has been a long lasting love affair. The Uniden offers everything you need in one phone system- an answering machine, intercom system, multiple handsets with cradles, and a do not disturb feature.

My favorite Uniden Feature
I love that the Uniden is super easy to use and intuitive. I especially like the super stealth, DO NOT DISTURB feature. Basically, you press do not disturb and it turns your ringer off. Your phone now lights up instead of ringing when a call is coming in. This is a great feature for anyone with small children that wake up when the phone rings.  

Other nice Uniden Features
I really like the intercom feature on my Uniden. We have a 3 story house and it is great to use when someone on the first floor is trying to reach a person on the third floor. I also like that you only need one Jack. As a proud owner of a 100+ year old home, I dont have jacks throughout the house. So, this system definitely come in handy.

Reception
Again, I can't speak more highly of the exceptional reception from the Uniden. It is clear as day.

Downside of the Uniden
The talk button is very enticing. It is the biggest button on the system and lights up. My 1 and 2 year old find it very tempting to press. So, when speaking on the phone, they often hang up on the person because the button is so damn tempting. I guess you could say that is a parenting problem instead of a negative feature.
