I've had a variety of cordless telephones over the last ten years or so, and each one seems worse than the last.  Do we have to go back to the rotary dials with those curly-q phone cords that always get tangled up?

Most recently I bought the Uniden Cordless Phone DXA15688, which cost about $79.  It seemed like a good deal and had a lot of good features. But overall I'm not satisfied.

This cordless phone operates at 5.8 Ghz and has a built-in answering machine (digital). The phone display lights up to show the number you are dialing and will also do so if you have caller ID. The phone...

Replaced a 2.4 gh Uniden with this phone hoping for better quality and was sadly disappointed. Love the extra handset but all I have to do is walk outside the back door and noone can hear me. Tons of static. Ok inside house but I want it for gardening, etc outside too. Would not reccommend if you want same.
