The Uniden phone is awesome for a large family. The phone comes with 4 phones in total and the extra 3 just plug in to work. Great phone -- until the down button stops working

Get a different phone. I mean, this one is great at first, but when the down button stops working, it sucks. As far as I know, you can have four handets. I love the fact that this Uniden has 4 handsets.  There is no echo, like my other cordless had, this is a clean, static free sound.  Easy to hold and it cradles easy on your shoulder.
