I like to consider myself a savvy shopper. There are some brand names that are quite expensive when I know that buying a generic label will do just the same job without spending the extra money. However, there are also times when having certain brand name items is a must in my household. One such item is Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper. My wife has always insisted that I pick up this particular brand because of its softness. I've never complained too much over toilet paper (unless it's from the Ferris wheel-type that is found in public restrooms) as long as it gets the job done. That also means you don't need to use a lot of toilet paper as well.

We vary in terms of which Charmin product to buy but for the most part we purchase the four pack "Big Roll" set. Each "Big Roll" is the equivalent of two regular toilet paper rolls. In essence, we are getting eight regular rolls rolled up into four "Big Rolls".  There are 200 sheets in every roll so that's quite a lot of toilet paper to go through.

But the trade off in buying such quality toilet paper means paying a bit more for it. I know for a fact that I can save money if I bought another brand name but there are two things I always consider:

1) No other brand is as soft and absorbent as Charmin; it's the comfort that makes me come back for more; and

2) My wife will kill me if I brought home another brand name. I enjoy breathing right now and it's a habit I wish to continue for quite some time.

It's hard to go wrong purchasing Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper. I was really surprised when I first tried it and was amazed at the softness and durability.
