I was attracted to the concept of Ultra Downy Simple Pleasures Dual Scent Citrus Spice Glow since I'm a bit of a fabric softener junkie and had never before tried anything that could be described as having a "Citrus Spice Glow" scent. As a fabric softener, it worked as expected. My clothes were soft, my towels were fluffy and all of my laundry was free of obnoxious static. As for the scent, I definitely smelled a sweet citrus and a tangy undertone but nothing I would describe as "spice". In my opinion "spice" is reminiscent of pumpkin pie and apple cider. Ultra Downy Simple Pleasures Dual Scent Citrus Spice Glow has more of a citrus-fruity-tangy smell with a musky floral undertone. To say I was dissapointed would be an understatement. Especially considering the high price. Needless to say, with all the cheaper, more true-to-their-description fabric softeners available, I won't be buying this one again.

I have to tell you that I originally bought the Downy Citrus Glow because I was drawn to the packaging, and the spicy citrus scent sounded intriguing to me. I have tried other Down Fabric Softeners before so I already knew that I would probably like this one too. Although this has great softening power, and makes all my clothes feel great, I like this more for the added fragrance it gives to my clothes.The scent is very pleasant and the scent lasts for a very long time. The scent of the Downy smells exactly as described.It's afresh and fruit citrus scent with an added spicy kick to it. It also has an extra burst of freshness just like the other Downy fabric softeners that release the fragrance throughout the day to keep me smelling fresh. It also keeps my sheets smelling good and soft until the next time I wash them. I love this scent most out of all the other fabric softeners I've tried. This is a must have, and you absolutely have to try it. And the only downside I have about this product is that it sells out so fast, and I always have to stock up when I do find it. This is a really popular scent! Performance Downy always does a great job at making my clothes and bedding super soft, even my roughest clothes are soft after using Downy. It also stops my clothes from getting all wrinkly and it gets rid of that annoying static as well. Scent The scent is the citrus spice glow. It has just the right amount of fruity citrus, and spice mixed together. It even gives a great scent burst that keeps the odors away by releasing a light amount of the fragrance out of it throughout the day. This is the best scented laundry product, and it doesn't bother sensitive skin or give me hives. It's gentle on skin.

I love it when a liquid fabric softener states that its scent is dual scented citrus and spice that it is the same described fragrance you actually smell from the clothes after using the detergent. This is the one of the most pleasant scents that Downy has come up with; the slightly spicy scent mixed with a nice clean citrus smell is so lovely. And at times when I put away some clothes and bring them back out later I can still trace a hint of citrus and spice on my garments. It even claims to contain renewing scent pearls for fresh bursts of fragrance that release as you move whilst wearing the clothes that had been washed with that Downy fabric softener and its true as I have gotten a whiff of it from my sweater tops while out and about. It is an fabric softener that is always on my grocery list and I always buy in bulk as I don't want to particularly run out of it. The store sells this product in several sizes, it's affordable and I made sure to read the back on whether it was safe for my washing machine and the Downy Simple Pleasures is safe to use for standard washers like mine. I would definitely recommend using this brand.

The area I live in nut have been a test market for this product because I've only seen it once. Of course I bought a bottle and absolutely loved the scent. I really wish I could find it again because I would purchase as many as possible to add to my stockpile of laundry items. I am an extreme couponer and this is a product I want more of. Tons more of. Performance The scent seems to stay with your clean clothes for some time and it's very pleasant. Your clothes come out so nice and soft that you just want to cuddle them. Love love love all Downy products but this one is at one of the top spots in my book. Please make more and make the product more readily available in all areas. It's a must have in any laundry room in my opinion. Scent Wonderful scent that seems to be refreshed through out the day on your clothing. The citrusy smell is awesome and seems to give you a burst of energy each time you get a whiff.

I love the dual scent of Ultra Downy Simple pleasures! The mix of citrus scent is so good. I had relatives who spent few days at home and I washed the bedding with. I had a lot of compliments about the good scent of this fabric softener. My relatives were impressed and will buy this fabric softener.
