I got this free in a kit of Ulta products with a purchase. The shade I got was Nude Glow. This lip plumper is pretty and very sheer. It has a sponge tipped applicator and glides on well. It does sting a little after application which is what is supposed to cause the plumping effect. However, the sting is super mild as is the plumping. As for wear, the gloss lasts an average time on my lips - about 30 minutes. It is very sheer and just boosts my lip color rather than changes the color. It has a bit of shimmer and a lot of shine. In all, this plumper is a good, sheer lip gloss. But, as with most lip plumping glosses, it barely plumps my lips at all. I can see maybe a TOUCH of plumping after about five minutes of wear but nothing very noticeable. However, the gloss does fill in fine lip lines and makes my lips smoother so that's a good thing. In all, this is an average gloss that doesn't really plump much if at all. I wouldn't buy it but will use the tube I have when I want a natural, neutral look.

My Viewpoint

Ulta Ultimate Pout Lip Plumper makes my lips shiny, slightly shimmery, and a bit pouty. I don't see much plumping but that's usual for all lip plumpers except for a very few I have tried. Maybe I just have unplumpable lips. This is an average gloss, thus 3 stars. If you like very sheer natural shades, this comes in three very light shades and in clear. I don't think I will recommend this to you simply because it is $12.50 and performs like a much less expensive gloss.
