Ugly Betty Review Summary
Now in its third season on ABC, Ugly Betty is a show for all the underdogs out there. Starring America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, a young Hispanic woman working for the high profile fashion magazine Mode, it is a sitcom about standing up for one's self. Betty's problem is she is not exactly "model pretty", but wears glasses, is dumpy and has braces. This opens her up to ridicule from her mean-as-a-snake boss Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) who is also a conceited diva and former fashion model. Obstinately, Betty is hired by the owner to keep tabs on his son and the magazine's editor-in-chief, Daniel. They develop a friendship while battling the evil Whilhemina. Reviewers like the show, saying, ,"What I love the most is the positive message the show sends about loving yourself despite size, ethnicity, or sexual orientation." and the consensus seems to be "if you're looking for a funny show with an eclectic cast who have very good comedic timing and great acting skills this is a show you should give a chance.".

Ugly Betty is a great show. It has drama, suspense and comedy. The cast is phenuamenal.
Everyone should watch this show. It keeps you hanging on every episode and counting the minutes till a nother episode airs. Everyone should has a inner Ugly Betty in themselves. This show makes you root for the underdog and love all the "vilians". The show is full of colorful characters. all the men are hottties. You will fall in love with ugly betty.

Immediately, I fell in love with the show. It has a very diverse cast. The humor can be for a lot of different ages. Plus, there is something in it for everyone. It mostly always has a moral to every story and you can relate to a majority of the cast in it. The scripts are always well-written and it always seems to suck you in to watch the next episode to find out what is going to happen next.
I would reccomend this show to anyone that likes a comedy show that also has heart.

What is it with ABC and this show. For months now 'BETTY' has either been pre-empted by a sports show or new sitcome. It has also been put on hiatus and moved to a different airing night. It never ends! This show deserves more respect.
