Ugg - Classic Short boot for women Review

I have an old pair of these Ugg's for women. I originally bought them 14 yrs ago when I drove a school bus. I was tired of getting frozen toes while driving and not one other brand of boots did the trick. I had Thinsulate from every name-brand, battery-heated socks, moon boots (remember those?) my sons worsted wool, heavy-duty socks (blech....itched all the time), sheep-skin liners.....you name it, I had tried it.

I went to BJ's one day and there they were. Of course, they were a lot cheaper then but still pricey. Cold weather was approaching fast and I dreaded another frost-bitten winter. When I first put my feet into them (they recommend "no socks") I was hooked. No matter that they were and are not exactly a fashion statement, having my feet encased in the soft, furriness of the sheep-skin was divine. The packaging said that not only could you wear them without socks but that you could wear them in milder temps and not feel all hot and sweaty in them. Because I had tried so many different boots over the years, I put them to the test & wore them a lot before winter actually set in. I loved them!!!! I wanted them to keep my feet warm and toasty during the frigid, I didn't want to have to stop wearing them.

Well, I made the right choice, finally!!! They kept my feet and ankles at the right temp all winter long. I had pre-treated them to make them water-proof, for those slushy days and they never leaked.

They are holding up fairly well, given their age. I even was able to have them stretched (professionally) as my feet went from a 7 to 8 over time. I highly recommend them to any one.
