Okay, so you've heard the hype about Ugg boots, but are they really worth shelling out $200+ ? Umm, yes, and here's why: 1) They're warm. My feet never get cold in Ugg boots, even when the temperature dips below freezing. 2) They're adorable. That might not sound very important, but if you've ever done a google search for women's winter boots, you'll know that most of them look kind of like those orthopedic support boots for broken feet. 3) They're comfy. Really comfy. Like walking around all day in your favorite pair of soft fleecy slippers. 4) They come in your size. I have the hardest time finding shoes for my size 12 feet, but Ugg makes 'em! 5) They hold up well, especially if you look after them properly. I sprayed mine with Ugg's water repelling spray before I wore them, and they still look like new even after a whole winter's worth of wear. You should know though that even if you treat them first, most Uggs are not designed to get very wet, so if snow gets on them, you should brush it off immediately. I highly recommend getting a pair of waterproof Uggs (they make them for both men and women) if you want to use them as everyday snow boots. They still look great, but are more practical and last longer, even if you step in lots of puddles! I also suggest getting small cedar blocks to stick in your boots between wears, because otherwise they can start to smell after a while. The cedar will absorb the odor. Enjoy your beautiful new boots!
