Udderly Smooth Udder Cream Review Summary

Dry skin sufferers are willing to overlook the fact that this cream was originally made for cow udders and slather it on their dry hands for hydration and moisture. Udderly Smooth Udder Cream is a white, thick cream that deeply penetrates the skin and forms a barrier between the elements and your skin, say our satisfied reviewers. The scent is a bit strong and "funky", however, and if you prefer more subtly scented or perfumed creams, check out all our hand cream reviews for ideas on which might suit you best.

Quick View: This is weird cream but it worked for my husband's terribly cracked hands. My husband's hands were udderly hopeless until he found this cream. — About Udderly Smooth Udder Cream — This cream was developed for cow udders. Really. Apparently they chafe and crack and need… read full review »

After hearing such wonderful things about this product, I decided to give it a try. I was totally unimpressed. The consistancy of the lotion is SO watery. You might as well be using a watered down version of the cheapest lotion available. It didn't do a thing for my dry skin. I own a myriad of… read full review »

As a person with psorasis, I have tried many solutions and creams...prescribed and otherwise. Finally I tried Udder Cream. When I first read the description I thought maybe I was in the wrong aisle or picked up something totally wrong. — To my amazement , when I read the back of the tube I decided to give it a try. After all , if they used it on cows udders ,why not my sore cracked psoratic elbows. — While you never get rid of psorasis, this cream came as quite a relief . It made my elbows lest red and scaly and gave me some relief from the constant itching. — I love this… read full review »

I work in a hospital, so I have to wash my hands constantly.  I'm always looking for a product that is too heavy to use at work to keep my hands from being dry and peeling.  I also use it on my feet to keep them soft and smooth, because when I get sick my heels tend to become dry and cracked.  It works for cracked dry skin, but it is takes a minute to rub it in and it smells kind of funky, so don't use it if you're going to wear perfume.  I recommend night time use, just to avoid it mixing with fragrances you may wear throughout.  This is great for extra dry… read full review »

My aunt was the one that introduced me to Utterly Smooth because I was having such issues in the winter with dry and cracking skin on my hands and elbows. It was "utterly" painful (just as this pun was). The moment I put the product on and started to rub it in, I could have sworn I heard my hands go "ahhhhhhhhhhh". As I was enjoying the silky smoothness of my now moisturized and nourished hands, she also let me in on how wonderful it was because it didn't leave a greasy residue when doing things such as knitting or crocheting. Being the lover of the yarn, I found this to be a great… read full review »

Once you get past the name and the fact that this is used for cow udders, it is not a bad product.  I am always on the lookout for good moisturizers for my daughter's eczema.  She has it in the crooks of her elbow and sometimes around her eyes.  This seems to go on fairly easily, is not too heavy and keeps her skin hydrated for several hours.  The smell is not my favorite but it does disappear quickly.  I would recommend this to anyone who has dry skin as a good barrier, especially with the upcoming colder… read full review »

I am a hand lotion junkie and I love this product.  I can't stand to have dry skin. I am always getting complements on how soft my skin is. This is my main lotion. I only like this lotion in a tub though. If it comes in a tube or a pump it is usually too watery. It doesn't leave a film of oil on your hands so if you prefer a coating on your hand you won't like this lotion. This lotion is also not for scent. I prefer other lotions if I am going for smell. This is a great product to keep hand smooth and looking great.… read full review »

This cream is awsome. Purchased for my childs chicken skin on legs and upper arms. This cream removes it with repeated use twice a day. The doctor wanted me to put alpha hydroxy acid cream on my little boy No way! This cream is unscented and very mild I even put on his face on cold winter days. He calls it "Cow cream". I just wish it came in a pump… read full review »

This is the best cream money can buy. Works overnight. My husband works in a factory and his hands are awful. He uses this and it softens his hands overnight. It is great to use on your feet. I have tried every lotion under the sun and this is truly the best.  I spent alot of money on others and have all kinds but this is better. It even beats bath and… read full review »

This is great for the winter.  I use it on my heels when they get dry and cracked.  My parents were the one who turned me on to it but I was a little embarrassed using it till I notice the change on my heels.  I know people may b turned off by the fact it's for udders but you do know what you're missing. … read full review »

I like this product because after you put it on, you don't feel like your skin can't breathe. You don't feel any heavier after putting it on. It's like the dryness goes away, but so does the lotion! A lot of women like lotions that have a certain scent. I am picky about my scents, so I am glad that this lotion is… read full review »

I love the texture of this creme...thick not runny. It keeps my hands/feet feeling moist for several hours.  However, if I wash either, then the process startes again.  There is no allergic reaction that I am aware of (from asking my friends).  The price is great… read full review »
