this is for sure the OS of the future. Ubuntu has done it again by putting out an efficient and user-friendly OS. the interface is much like microsoft windows xp, which makes it easy to transition from pc to linux. this is a free OS and has many applications built right into it. Ubuntu has a large user/technical support system to provide help in time of need. also, i should note that this is a very secure OS with security patches available for updating usually within hours of any known vulnerability.

The same thing was said of Linux when it first hit the streets, but is has been limited to the Network Operating Centers, and Data Centers' If and until viable end-user applications for home, and more importantly business use, are released for the OS, it will remain a nitch product at best.
