Overall Great, Lack of Good ATI Drivers Though

Pros

    free, regularly updated, dependable, easy, excellent support, secure

Cons
    occasional glitches, Bad ATI Drivers at Current Time

Linux is really the best operating system out there and Ubuntu is a great distribution to try out if you're going to use it.  The ATI Proprietary Drivers for linux are lacking at the current point, so 3D Usage is not the best, but for all else, updates, applications, etc. Ubuntu is great.
