USA Today —

USA Today is geared towards a reader who prefers knowing more about footbal and Oprah than about serious news. I recall that when this paper was first published in the mid 1980s, the box from which it was dispensed was designed to look like a television. Certainly, its extensive use of color and shallow content draws clear parallels to television news. Next time you want to know about the world around you, put on your big-boy pants and get the Wall Street Journal...far less pretty pictures, but much more valid content.

Brief but valid review. The sad part is, most of America is more interested in football & Oprah vs. serious news. And people wonder why we're in a depression...duh.
