If you like to keep up to date on the celebrity gossip and wonder what is new with the stars of your favorite movies and television, this magazine is a great light read and fun to browse.  I like reading it for the star gossip to find out who is dating who and what the in color dress of the week is.  The pages are filled with fashion trends and misses, and of course all the celebrity love news.  This magazine is an easy read, so your mind can escape the business of life.  The con is that it is a gossip magazine so you can't believe everything you read, but it is still fun… read full review »

Ok, lets be honest. We all know this isn't the New York Times. We know exactly what this is when we are buying it. I am guilty of grabbing it in the grocery store aisle whenever I see it.  What can I say there is something fascinating about seeing stars in their so called "Real lives". If you're looking for substance or articles on the war and the country's economic status, this is not the place for you.  US weekly is fluffy. It's what the pretty, rich people are doing, and how you can look like them. It always has an article about a female celeb who has lost lots of weight, articles on cheap alternatives to expensive fashion, and how to get those makeup tricks like all the hot celebs do. Okay, laugh if you must, but I absolutely love Us Weekly magazine. I am college-educated (UCLA as a matter-of-fact) and I read real books that eventually end up on the New York Times' Best Seller List, but I am absolutely addicted to Us Weekly magazine. I like to read it to relax and wind down for the day. Maybe in my jacuzzi or while I'm soaking away the day's troubles in a long, hot bath. Us Weekly cuts out all of the book and music reviews that take up way too many pages in People and just brings you the gossip. And by no means is gossip all bad. this magazine is a good read during a bath. i enjoy reading it after my ok magazine because they are always saying how ok gets the story wrong. the magazine has a good collection of gossip, fashion & entertainment information. some celebs go to them with in depth stories. others appear to be hounded by their photographers. i enjoy buying my subscription on ebay where prices are cheapest. i have been a subscriber for over a year and would recommend it to others.… read full review »

US Weekly magazine is a fun, light magazine to read.  It is full of celebrity news, which may not be important in the grand scheme of things, but is enjoyable to escape with for a while.  I love seeing the outfits that are being worn around Hollywood.  I also enjoy the funny quotes and the gossipy information.  This is not a magazine to find deep and thoughtful news information, but it is a great… read full review »

This magazine is a great escape from reality.  Pictures are fun to look at and articles have just enough mindless stuff to entertain.  I mean who doesn't want to see what Jessica Simpson bought at Whole Foods or what crazy thing Britney is up to.  Love to read on the treadmill.  Just long enough for a 30 minute workout!  Gotta love… read full review »
