I bought this UNO waffle maker about 6 months ago and it has always worked very well for us. I bought mine from Williams Sonoma for about $100. It is extremely well made, stainless steel housing and is very heavy duty. It allows you to remove the waffle irons for easy cleaning, just remove them from each "handle bracket", hand wash with soap and water and return to the unit once dry. I have used it several times and followed the recipe in the product manual that comes with the unit and each and every time the waffles come out so tasty, fresh, and light. Out of one batch of waffles from the recipe, I can feed my husband and myself and have extras to freeze for another meal. Very frugal! I usually use a fork tine to assist in removing the hot waffle from the iron, it works very well. It has an indicator light to tell you when the iron plates are hot and ready for the next waffle, it will go on and off during cooking letting you know when the next waffle is ready to be poured.
