One of the better UFC's I've seen in awhile. Of course there were some boring fights, but, for the most part they were entertaining, explosive fights

Mac Danzig vs Mark Bocek
I became a fan of Mac Danzig during The Ultimate Fighter last season. This fight was very good. The stood up for most of the fight, which is what I, personally like to see. They are both very tough fighters, and Mac eventually got the win by a submission choke.

Michael Bisping vs Charles McCarthy
Bisping is one of my all time favorite fighters. He hails from England, and he is such a gracious, out standing, talented fighter. This fight was very explosive, and before the fight there was a lot of trash talking, which I hate, by the other fighter McCarthy, who said he was going to "break Bisping's arm" during the fight. At one point during the fight, he did have him in a submission, but, Bisping stayed calm and eventually got the win by a TKO stoppage. It was a great fight!

Kalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry
The most disappointing fight of the night in my opinion. Starnes spent the majority of the fight, literally, running from Quarry. So much so that by the end of the fight, Quarry was so frustrated he mocked him and Starnes ended up flipping him off. It was a disappointing win for Quarry, who is a great fighter, who won by judges decision, because, "It's hard to hit someone who's running from you".

Rich Franklin vs Travis Lutter
Another disappointing fight for me, but, only because I don't like Rich Franklin, who pulled out the win on this one. Travis Lutter and Rich are fighting for the chance to fight Anderson Silva for the title. Both have fought him before and lost. Rich as lost to him twice! The fight was a good one, with Rich winning by TKO in the second round. I guess we will see Silva vs Franklin part 3 soon!

Georges St-Pierre vs Matt Serra
The headlining fight of the night. It was NOT a disappointment! GSP and Matt had fought earlier and Serra took GSP's title in the upset that shocked all MMA fans. This was GSP's chance to redeem himself...and that he did! Wow. That's about all you can say about GSP. He is one of the best fighters in the world. WELL, actually he IS the Welterweight Champion of the World. He is one of the most athletic fighters I've ever seen. And you will not find a more humble, grateful, nice fighter out there. Even though he and Serra had done some trash talking in the months leading up to the fight, after he won, he didn't go and rub it in his face. He bowed to him, hugged him, thanked him and spoke very kindly to him and about him on the microphone to the fans. He deserves the title and I can't wait to see him defend it.

All in all this was one of the better UFC's. Looking forward the next one, UFC 84:Ill Will, featuring BJ Penn vs Sean Sherk
