Very effective cream

5

Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream is a very effective pain relieving cream. I experience a lot of strain on my neck and back at times when I am at work. When I get home from work, I try to soothe my sore neck and back muscles. At times, I find that I need more relief than just ice or a heating pad. My local pharmacy was having a sale on over-the-counter pain relievers so I decided to try this Tylenol product. I am very happy that I did. First, the cream is thick but it is not too heavy or greasy at all. It absorbs nicely and does not stain my clothing. Second, a little bit of this cream goes a long way. I find that I really get my money's worth out of this product. Finally, I find that this cream provides immediate pain relief and the effects of it last for several hours. Overall, I am very impressed with this pain relief product. It is budget friendly, effective at relieving pain, and is not messy!

Tylenol Precise Pain Is Just OK

4

Recently I had a lot of pain in my joints from repetitive movement. I decided I would try Tylenol Precise Pain Reliving Cream as I had never tried it before. It costs about the same as the other major pain relieving creams. The cream is thick but is not too greasy and rubs in easily. It did not have a strong smell like Ben Gay or the other mentholated brands so that was nice. It did begin to heat up a little and took away some of the pain although not as much as I had expected that it would do. It did work although some of the other brands I have tried worked alot better. I don't think I would buy it again as it was not as strong as others and if I am going to spend money or a pain relieving cream , I want it to be effective and do the job it is supposed to do. I guess for minor aches and pains it may be ok but I would recommend you try something else unless this is on sale for a good cheap price.

Way too hot

I'm a runner, and frequently have aches and pains that could use a little attention. I purchased Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream to apply to sore muscles and joints, hoping for a little relief. I've not tried pain relieving creams before, but my expectations were high. Too high, I think. I didn't like the smell of this, and was disappointed when I put it on before work and ended up smelling like a medicine cabinet for the better part of the morning. From then on, I applied it before bed or on the weekends. My worst experience with this product was when I put a little on an ankle that was giving me issues, right before a run. Within fifteen minutes, the friction of my shoe caused a burning so intense I had to take my shoes and socks off and wade in a nearby stream. There is nothing on the label warning of this potential reaction, so it may have been a fluke but after that experience I threw the entire tube away.

Precise pain relief

I purchased and used Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream. I found it affective for pain relief in my hands. I did discover that it is not a good idea to cover any area in which you have applied Tylenol precise pain relieving cream. When I covered the area which had cream applied to it, I found that it was painful. I may have had a bad reaction to the cream, however I think that it is still advisable to avoid wearing gloves or other clothing over the affected area. I think that it is affective for relieving aching muscles and joints. It reminds me of the icy hot pain relieving creams. Menthol is affective in relieving aching muscles and joints. We have been using similar applications of pain relieving cream. We were able to purchase the Tylenol precise pain relieving cream at a local drug store and we received it free after rewards rebate as far as I can remember.

Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream - Temporary relief

4

I was really excited to see Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream when it came out. I knew it had to help. I bought it immediately. Took it home and applied it. It did give me some temporary relief. Didn't take the pain away but really did help. Made it bearable. I was actually able to move around better and without being in excruciating pain. However, it wears off really fast. A lot faster than I had expected. Faster than most of the others creams, gels and rubs that I have tried and I have tried a lot of the. I was surprised by that. I used it again later that night before bed. Same result. Worked pretty good. Helped with the pain some. Didn't take it all away but made it manageable and tolerable. However once again, it wore off relatively fast. With all of that being said, that is why I choose not to use Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream. The fact that it does not last long. I did not expect it to last 6 hours, 8 hours etc. but at least 30 minutes. I would like to say that other than the time factor, the smell isn't bad. The price isn't terribly high. That's why I give it a seven.

Pain Relieving Cream

I ended up trying this because I had previously bought the heating patches by the same brand and was curious about which one was better for me. The cream did not pan out to be as effective or convenient as the heat patches are. For one the cream of course is messy and smelly, I worry about it rubbing off onto my clothing, bedding, and furniture so it feels uncomfortable to have it on. Also the overall pain relieving effect is much less potent than the patches. I did feel some very slight relief from my muscle pains for a very brief amount of time when I applied it to my feet neck and shoulders but it wasn't enough for me to want to actually purchase this again. I prefer being able to see and feel substantial results, especially for pain relief. I would recommend this for people who are first off, very young (as in less than forty) and be without much actual overall body pain.

My least favorite pain relieving cream

3

I thought for sure that Tylenol would do a great job at creating a pain relieving cream. I was so excited to try this one, but was really let down. I have tried other creams, gels, and sprays, so I am familiar with how they feel, how strong they are, and how long they last. This cream just burns! I have never had a cream that burned my skin. Typically they just feel like heat and cold at the same time (thus the name, IcyHot). The first time I used it, I thought maybe I had put too much on my skin. The second time, I tried less and still felt nothing but burn. I ended up having to use a washcloth to wipe it off but even then it was already into my skin and I just had to suffer the burn. The cream goes into your skin faster than other creams and a lot faster than any of the balms. This is a good thing if it works for you, but for me it just felt like my shoulder was on fire. It is my least favorite of all the pain relieving creams on the market.

Worked okay, not better than the cheaper stuff.

Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream worked pretty well for me. I bought it not long after it came out with a coupon, and I had high hopes for it. It worked okay, but it didn't seem to be much better than the cheaper brands. It did have a bit of a medicinal smell, but it wasn't awful, and it went away after the medication fully absorbed. It does absorb pretty quickly. I like that it is a cream instead of a gel. Creams generally seem to work better for me. I used this product on my back and on my hamstring area after a strain. It did relax the area and help relieve the pain. It washes off pretty easily after applying. Make sure to wash it off immediately. If you happen to get it in your eyes, you will definitely wish you had washed better. I also have carpal tunnel and used it on my wrist, hand, and forearm, and it didn't seem to help this pain, so if you have nerve pain instead of muscle pain, don't try this product.

Not what i had expected

I have joint and muscle pain in my neck and in my shoulders. I use icy hot and pain relieving patches so when I saw this product at my local walmart I thought i would give it a try. At that point I had nothing to lose. I read the direction and the active ingredients before I even left the store. I was pleased with what I read so I bought the product. I got home and opened it and my first thought was that it smelled a lot like tooth paste. I put it on anyway to give it a try and my eyes instantly started watering. My eyes burned and the areas where i had applied the cream instantly felt like a sunburn. I was left with red patches all over my neck and shoulders. Even after i wiped the product off the areas still burned and they were red for hours after. I do not recommend this product. I would certainly hope that it works better for other people than it worked for me. I personally am not a fan.

tylenol precise pain cream is a fairly good product

Tylenol precise pain relieving cream worked better than I expected. It helped with some minor arthritic pain. It began to heat up after a little while. While it did not totally take away the pain, it was helpful. It also did not have a greasy feeling and the smell was not strong.
