When the new chewable Tylenol Extra Strength Go tabs came out I was so exctited. Because all I could think of is the convenience it would bring to my life. Half the time when I get a headache or have pain I don't have a drink handy to take the pills that I do have thrown into the bottom of my purse. If your purse is like mine, you may/ or may not have the tylenol etc.. but you definately need the water and may not be near a place that has anything to drink. So, you have to go buy a water or a bottle of tylenol. Sometimes this makes this worse yet, you procrastinate about getting a drink/ or tylenol while the headache gets to be so insufferable until you have somthing to take your pills with.
This new adult chewable option is a great invention. With little drawbacks for the convenience. I am not suggesting to use it for everyday use. But, I would suggest throwing a pack in your purse to have in an emergency. This way you can take them when you "need" them. Since it is never convenient to get a headache. You can always use them in a pinch. They work quickly and as effectively as the old fashion tylenol.
The only downfalls of the Go tabs are possibly the cost per container / amount of tylenol you get and the slight aftertaste. They come in mint flavor. However, I think grape like the childrens flavor may be a better alternative to hide the medicine taste.
This product is highly portable for many reasons you could use this for lots of applications. I am not sure why it took so long to get a stronger dose of chewable tylenol on the market.
