Love this Medicine

5

I love the Tylenol Children's Chewable medicine. As a first time mother I always get nervous when my daughter gets a high fever and can not express to me exactly how she is feeling since she can not quite talk yet. I have tried the Tylenol liquid medicines when she gets a fever but she immediately throws them up, I think due to the awful taste most liquid medicines have. I found these at a convenience store in the middle of the night when her latest fever got bad. I decided to try them since it would be something so she may actually keep down giving it the ability to actually do its job. I was amazed how well she took to them, I guess they must have tasted pretty good because she asked for another after the first tablet. I cuddled her and watched Shrek and about half way through the movie her fever had already gone down significantly. I was very pleased in how fast this medicine worked for her. I was also happy that it was something safe to give her at her age, she is two years old.

Great for kids who hate medicine

5

My son has hated taking medicine ever since he was a baby. When he was a baby he would fight me so much and spit it back out, it was so hard making sure he took the full dosage. Now that my son is older, he still hates taking medicine (although he doesn't spit it out) and still freaks out about having to take anything liquid. The Children's Tylenol Chewables are great for kids who hate taking medicine, I told my son they were like candy but that they were medicine, he takes them with no problem. It is so much easier now to give him medicine when he is sick and also now I know he is getting the full dose. He still says it tastes like medicine but I guess it is not as bad. To help him chew them faster I dip them in water first and give it to him quickly before they start to dissolve, that way they dissolve quicker in his mouth. We've only tried the bubble gum flavor because my son hates grape medicine, but I think they only have those two flavors. Even though they are a little pricey, Tylenol is a brand I trust to give my son.

Love Love Love Children's Tylenol Chewables

My six year old is prone to nasty ear infections and has been getting them since he was a baby. When he gets these ear infections he really doesn't like to drink anything, much less, and I quote, "spicy medicine". I just recently came across the childrens chewables and just love them. One, there is no worrying about pouring too much medicine in the cup, or not getting him to drink enough of the dose out of the cup, he just takes the two tablets and chews them up. Nice for the middle of the night fever spikes, when I can barely remember my name, much less see how much medicine I am pouring into a cup, also no spills when trying to give the tylenol in bed either. But most importantly, it is not a fight to get him to chew them up, whereas it can be a real battle to get a cranky sick child to take the liquid tylenol when they really don't like the way it tastes or feels going down their throat. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very Easy For My Kids To Take

5

Unfortunately, my kids get sick more often than I would like.  When they are sick, I constantly have to fight with them to get them to eat or drink.  Fortunately, I have no problem getting them to take their Tylenol chewables.  They like the taste.  I've tried it myself and have  to agree.  I don't have to worry about it spilling all over the place, which is very important  when they have a  fever at 2 AM, and I have to give it to them in bed.   It is easy on their stomach, unlike Ibuprofen.  I don't think they've ever thrown it up.  It brings their fever down quickly.  I can even give it to them in the car.  Tylenol for Kids comes in different bottles with different doses (80 mg.for 2 - 6  and 160 mg for 6 - 11)  of acetaminophen.  I usually buy the Meltaways for older children and break them in half for my little guy. It's much cheaper that way.  They  sell them in grape and bubblegum flavor.  My kids like both.

Tylenol chewables are the one medicine my children will take!

We have always used Tylenol when our children were sick. Since they were babies they would have Tylenol when the would have doctor visits and receive shots or when they would become sick. When they are small it is much easier to give them medicine but as they grew older and could refuse the medicine, that is when we had to look for something else. My husband is the one who found Tylenol chewables in our local grocery store and we both thought it was a great idea. The first test was on my daughter when she was 3 years old and she had a fever. We were told by the doctor to give her Tylenol and so we decided to give the chewables a chance. She was already used to taking her daily vitamin so to her, this seemed like nothing out of the ordinary. She took the medicine without any problems and we were happy to see that she actually enjoyed the flavor. Instead of gagging like we would see when giving other medicines or antibiotics, she enjoyed the flavor and took it willingly.

Easier to use but need more pills

**I depend on the tylenol brand and use it with my children. Just have to take more pills than liquid. I use the pills when we won't be at home but use the liquid when we are home. Pills are convienent to use.**

Quick- Easy to administer- Kids love the taste

5

My kids regularly come down with the bugs going around, even on daily vitamins, healthy foods.... I've come to realize it comes with the territory- kids will get sick. So I stock up on the Children's Tylenol chewables. They come in a handy cylinder container with child proof cap and easy instructions and it fits conveniently in my diaper bag so I always have a rescue-med at hand. My kids don't "love" medicine per se, but they rarely complain when it comes to taking these. The tablets are flavored in grape or bubblegum (sometimes cherry, but my kids prefer bubblegum) and they can chew and swallow them easily (great for 2 year olds who will never stand still for a spoonful of liquid and inevitably it ends up on their clothes!) The Tylenol chewables are for treating simple colds to pain, fevers, coughs and stuffy noses. So my rating is 5 stars- I can't think of anything wrong with it- I suppose Tylenol could introduce some new flavors, like maybe Blue Raspberry (like their competitor Advil has in liquid that my kids love), Watermelon, Fruit Punch, Orange (this would be my daughters favorite).... : )

Children's Tylenol Chewable is Mess free fever relief

5

My son, Jacob, has had double ear infections all fall with fevers of 103.5 and up, I tried the infants liquid tylenols and motrin fever reducers, nothing would touch his fever and at by that time he was getting wise to the fact that I was going to put yet another disgusting dose of medicine down his throat. Finially my husband brought home Children's Tylenol Chewables in grape and bubble gum flavors, this was a great idea, no mess no measuring and hey guess what my son thinks that it is candy, there is no fight getting it into him! Finially my son's fever was coming down and he was finially starting to feel better. I am going to make sure that I keep children's tylenol chewables in the house for when ever my little one has a fever! I wish that I could have found them earlier. For dosing information I went by the child's weight instead of the age, because I have a husky toddler he needed a larger dose than the average two year old would have, just remember when in doubt always go by the weight!
