Two and a Half Men —

Although I think it's getting a little 'stale' going into it's 5th season, (Is that right?) it's still one of the funniest sitcoms on TV.  If you believe the tabloids, the show was especially designed for the drunken, sexist ways of Charlie Sheen.

I wouldn't watch this with anyone under the age of 13 for sure; maybe older.  But it does remind me of when my son was younger & trying to find ways of covering up adult terminology.  I have to admit, Charlie sometimes reminds me of a YOUNGER ME!  (Remember Disco?  I was a full time DJ in the clubs.  Johnnie Walker on the rocks 6 nights a week, and the headaches to prove it.)

Even though it's very funny, sometimes I think this show is a microcosm of today's society.  One brother afraid to commit to any relationship.  The other brother reeling from 2 divorces.  And a kid caught in the middle of it all...over-weight & spoiled.  But, the truth sometimes can be very funny.  In closing, a question for Alan Harper;

Question: Why does divorce cost so much?

Answer: Because it's WORTH IT!

I bet he loves it. I have no need to buy the DVDs. Heck, it's on repeats 6 nights a week here in St. Louis.

My boyfriends LOVES this show! It's definitely a "guys" show. We've bought him season 1 and 2 on DVD as recent gifts. :-)
