Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1) —

Listen, I hate vampires and all that crap - so I never even thought to pick up this book - until the ladies in my "church family" raved about it.  I thought, ok, I will try to read this book.  I could not put this book down!  I love it when I find a book that I can't wait to sit down and read!  I believe this book is technically sold as a teen fiction book - probably because it is based on some high schoolers - but it is so good, it is very appealing.  In fact, the only people I ever hear talk about this book are my 30+ year old neighbor friends and other "older" than high schooler folk.  I love, love, love it and have ordered the other 3 books from this series off of amazon.com.  As soon as I get done with those, I will review those books.  I can't wait for the movie!  One look at the cast and they totally hit the mark on casting for the movie too, I think.  You will fall in love with Edward and find yourself engrossed in his relationship with Bella.!!!  Happy reading!

My 15 year old granddaughter and I went to see the movie. It was totally boring and juvenile. My granddaughter tried to finish the book but lost interest and quit. I'm not sure what the attraction is for middle aged women. The romance was silly. The movie ended where you know there will be a sequal. Yawn. Don't waste your money on this fairy tale.
