I don't normally enjoy fiction books, and have never been a fan of fantasy.  HOWEVER, I absolutely love the book, Twilight.  I just finished reading this book, and although it's a long one, it only took me about three days to complete.  I literally couldn't read this book fast enough.

Although I had heard that Twilight was a book for young adults, I was thrilled with it.  I think it is for readers of all ages, although it does make good reading for teens because there is no foul language, no sex, no drug use, and very little violence.  That's right!  A vampire book with little violence.

I will give nothing away in this review...........

Twilight is an excellently written book about a family of vampires.  Vampires that refuse to feed on human flesh, that is.  When a intelligent girl named Bella, moves into the cloudy town of Forks, she is intrigued by a small group of students at her school.  Edward Cullen, one of the young men in this group, and Bella quickly become attracted to each other.  It is their intense love that makes this book so appealing.

Women love the idea of meeting that special person that completes her entirely.  We dream of finding a man that will love us wholly, and protect us and keep us safe.  Edward Cullen provides this for Bella, and I was in awe over the way the author of this book, Stephanie Meyer, was able to portray this love affair.  Her descriptive writing style puts you in the middle of the story, right in the book with the characters.  You are literally able to feel the bond that holds these two characters together.

This book has it all.  Intense passion, excitement, danger, mystery, and so much more.  I highly recommend Twilight to any reader, of any age, of any ethnicity, or gender.  It is a book that I will read over and over, and still feel the same excitement I did the first time.

I would love to say more, but am afraid I will inadvertently give something away.  READ THIS BOOK, and you will see why so many people talk about it.  My only complaint is that I waited so long to enjoy it for myself.

She liked it, she loved it, she wants some more of it! This was an awesome book and series. F.Y.I. the books get longer the further into the series you go. Breaking Dawn was over 700 pages but I read it in about a week. The next book is New Moon--in my opinion it is a little slower but then things pick up in Eclipse and the grand finale is Breaking Dawn. The entire series is now available at Walmart. So, what did you think of the movie?
