Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack —

Since watching the movie Twilight countless times, I have fallen in love with the music played in the movie.  In a random conversation with my mom, I mentioned how much I loved the Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack that I heard on Amazon.com.  When I saw her today, she had a surprise for me...the soundtrack!

Out of the twelve songs on the soundtrack, there are only three or so that I'm not crazy about.  Three of those songs give me the (good) chills because I like them so much.

1. Muse - Supermassive Black Hole

2. Paramore - Decode

3. The Black Ghosts - Full Moon

4. Linkin Park - Leave Out All The Rest

5. Mutemath - Spotlight (Twilight mix)

6. Perry Farrell - Go All The Way (Into the Twilight)

7. Collective Soul - Tremble For My Beloved

8. Paramore - I Caught Myself

9. Blue Foundation - Eyes On Fire

10. Rob Pattinson - Never Think

11. Iron & Wine - Flightless Bird, American Mouth

12. Carter Burwell - Bella's Lullaby

The best thing about this soundtrack is that not only are the songs great, but I can recall where in the movie most of the songs were played.  It's kind of like an auditory reenactment in my head.

My favorite songs on the Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack are: #2, #3, #9, #10, #11 and #12.  All but #2 of my favorite songs are slower songs that just move really move me.  Oh, and ladies, when you remove the cover art from the case, it opens up into a poster of Edward and Bella!

No, it isn't an instrumental soundtrack. Twilight also has one of those, but this one is vocal music.

I haven't heard of many of these artists so tell me: Is the soundtrack mostly instrumental or vocal? I don't like instrumental music unless it's piano or bagpipes and songs that I know the words to. I'm still waiting for Walmart to stock the soundtrack for My Sister's Keeper!

If you liked the movie, you would love the soundtrack because it just brings you right back to scenes in the movie!

I know that I really liked the movie, so I'd probably like the music too! Great review.
