Twelves - Tuscaloosa, AL Review

My husband has gone to this restaurant several times and told me I HAD to try it.  We went after the AL/ Tenn game, so we knew we would have a wait, but not 1 hour and 45 minutes.  Then the waitress (who we loved and worked her butt off) brought our meals out when we discovered the kitchen had tried to pass of a $28 steaks in place of the $40 steaks ordered.  They were out of the cut, and just made the decision to use a different one without informing us.  Then, we waited forever for them to bring the correct dinners.  Then it took 5 tries for them to fix our tickets!  The manager (Kristen or something) was called to the table and was a complete butt.  She had no apologies and asked what she was supposed to do, because they have no policy on discounting or comping meals.  So we paid $100 dollars for the wost dining experience of my life.  Don't go there!

PS!!! The owner, Ford,  was at the bar and my husband complained to him.  He said the manager should have come and gotten him and he would have handled it as he knows my husband dines there frequently.  He did give us a $40 gift certificate, but we will not be using it.
