Twelve Sharp Review Summary

If you haven't had your fill of the less-than-perfect but never boring Stephanie Plum, author Janet Evanovich has cooked up a twelfth who-dunnit featuring our fearless bounty hunter, the aptly titled, Twelve Sharp. If you've ridden this merry-go-round before and had a good time, well, by all accounts, you will have as good a time or better cozying up to a fire with this multi-plot laden mystery. Back are mostly the same,er, unique cast of characters, including the other two thirds of Plum's love triangle. Things get really personal this time as her fantasy man, Ranger, is accused of kidnapping his own daughter and has his identity stolen. There for Twelve Sharp "is more interesting than most because it gives additional background on Ranger, Stephanie's bounty-hunter mentor and favorite daydream subject.". With lots of over-the-top action and " plenty of characters (old and new) that will have you wiping laughter tears from your eyes.", Twelve Sharp is sure to please long-time readers and attract new fans.

I've now read 12 of Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" novels and Twelve Sharp may be the best so far. Featuring mostly the same cast of characters that the previous 11 novels use so effectively, Twelve Sharp is more interesting than most because it gives additional backgound on Ranger, Stephanie's bounty-hunter...

Stephanie Plum is a borderline bounty hunter for a borderline bail bondsman. This is her twelfth caper by Janet Evanovich, thus the title. She shares her hunt with an assortment of misfits and miscreants. In this episode Stephanie is being stalked by a mysterious woman in black who carries a Glock and...

Stephanie Plum, Janet Evanovich's bumbling bounty hunter returns for her twelfth adventure with Lula, Ranger, Grandma Mazur, and Joe Morelli.  This time, the story opens with Stephanie being confronted by a woman who claims to be Ranger's wife, Carmen.  Stephanie is followed by Carmen, and when Carmen winds up dead, a mystery ensues.  As it turns out, someone is trying to take over Ranger's identity and life.  After the person kidnaps the real Ranger's daughter, events move rapidly.

The novel is filled with the usual sexual tension between Stephanie and her two men, Ranger and Morelli.  It...

Everything Stephanie Plum is a must read.  The only problem I'm having is not having the entire series made into movies.  I would love to see who they could come up with and see how well they could match the group in my mind.  Once again, we have not been let down by the trials and tribulations of Stephanie.  Can she ever find which man is best for her?  One minute I love Joe for her and the next Ranger seems perfect.

Not the best of the Plum novels. The story had potential but it was slow-moving, not as funny as many of the others and not as much action. I was actually bored this time around, but finished it just because.

Stephanie needs to choose between Ranger and Morelli already!  She is one confused chick. :)

Yes, that's right.  I feel like I am in love with both of them too after I read a book in this series.  Don't know what I'm talking about? Then you must read the books in this series.  If not this one, one of the others. It doesn't matter, they are all incredibly funny & entertaining.  There is nothing better or worse to say about one book in the series verus the other so below is my comments on the other books in the series.

I am very picky about the books I read.  I usually am recommend a book to read, if I like it I will read all the books by that author. That's just what I do.  I do...

Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite writers.  I only buy books by her or by Sue Grafton on the first day of sale and am willing to pay full price.  Stephanie Plum is very funny.  She is a family girl.  She had Friday dinners at home with her parents in Trenton, N.J.  As a bounty hunter she is always meeting strange new characters.  She is beautiful and has two men who love her and are always around to rescue her in dangerous situation.  Joe is a Trenton detective and is Stephanie's boyfriend, the other is Ranger, who is her temptation.  Stephanie is a car's worst nightmare.  You must... review »

Janet Evanovich has done it again for the 13th time in this "Stephanie Plum" series (Don't forget her "Visions of Sugar Plums book!!) Stephanie can't seem to go anywhere or do anything without something; more specifically cars; blowing up and in this book it is no exception. She also has her love issue's which now become even more confusing for her in this book, as this case is "closely" involved with her Love idol "Ranger" and his so called wife "Carmen" who is stalking him---Get ready for some more great Stephanie, more fun and definately more explosions, in and out of the bedroom!!!

I have read every book that Janey Evanovich has written. The Stephanie Plum series is the best! I read the books in one sitting. My family thinks that I am crazy because I laugh at loud so much that I have tears coming down my face. I would love to be friends with someone like Stephanie Plum and would love to have a Morelli and Ranger in my life. Read just one and you will see how addicting that they are.

Janet Evanovich hit the nail on the head again with this book.  Bounty hunters and crooks at their best.  You'd think in a series with 12 books one would get tired of the same characters and plot line.  But she is always fresh and keeps her characters that way too.  Great book if you just want to laugh - sometimes out loud - and not look for hidden meaning.

STEPHANIE PLUM AND COMPANY ARE ALWAYS INTERESTING AND AMUSING BUT THIS WAS NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE NUMBERS BEFORE IT. GRANDMA MAZUR WAS HYSTERICAl,. I LIKED THE PEEK IN TO RANGER'S LIFE, HE IS ALWAYS SUCH A MYSTERY. EVEN A MIDDLE OF THE ROAD stephanie plum mystery is better than none at all. it is an easy fast read for the pool or beach.

I have been reading Janet Evanovich's books featuring Stephanie as a bond's agent  for years and love every single  one. They are always entertaining  and  hilarious.  I especially like her Grandma.  Her books are also very imaginative and keep  you  reading.

I love the Srephanie Plumb series! I have bought the first book for many friends to get them hooked too! This one has the same great characters you love!!! You might want to check out Lori Avocato too, lots of similarities but still her own.

Every book in this series is wonderful.  It's like the books suck you in and you become Stephanie Plum.  Each one has humor, drama, mystery and suspense.  By the time you read them, it's like you are part of her family.
