TurnTable is great if you want to listen to music with other people. You can all join a room, chat, vote up or down, and you don't even have to pick the music. You can just listen in the room and vote the songs up or down. The chat function is great so you can talk bout the music choices or anything else. The incentive based avatars is a great way to keep people coming back and choosing good music others will "like". My problem is that not all of the artists allow their music to be on their library, but for the most part, they have a great selection of older and newer music and artists. Would definitely recommend as a fun time to listen to music!

Turntable.FM has a limited genre selection but they have some very unique music as much of the music is user submitted, and often times home studio producers will be playing out their own songs for new listeners to enjoy. I especially like the point system which encourages interaction in the "room" you decide to join, and if you are the kind of person who likes to play out music yourself, you can create or join a room and start gathering fans. Being a home studio producer myself I have used Turntable.FM to meet new people and chat about making music. I often refer them to my website and really enjoy that I can hear other music a fan might like, so I can expand my musical horizons. I would recommend this site to anyone that is 16-35, and interested in chatting about music. Also if you are a music producer, get on this site and upload your music! You'll be surprised how helpful it can be to share and discuss your music with the turntable.fm community.
