TurboTax 2008 Deluxe Tax Preparation Software Review

I have used Turbo Tax for 5 years straight. It is very easy to use, and walks you through the process step by step. My taxes are a little more complex that the average person because not only do I have a regular job, but I also sell for a home party plan company and  actually make more at that than my real job. So . . . I have lots of business expenses and also claim a home office plus I have a son in college that i was take the tuition tax credit a couple of those years. 

The part I like best is that each year it imports what you had from last year, so you can compare expenses plus it reminds you if you claimed something LAST year but had not claimed it THIS year.

 2 years ago, I waited until the end to do my taxes and then my hard drive crashed completely. Consequently, I had to take my taxes to H&R Block. I had everything written dow. I was there less than 1/2 hour and they charged me $350! When I told the guy that was outrageous he said they charge by how many forms are filled (I don't know if this is true or if he was just giving me a line) and since I was self employed there are a lot of form that get printed out.

Never again! I'll be using Turbo ever year!
