I like to cook, and there are some items I couldn't live without in my kitchen. One of them is the Tupperware Quick Shake Container. I typically use this whenever I have to mix milk and flour for things like soups and other bases. The container is made of plastic, with measuring amounts on the side of the container. Then, inside the lid, there is a plastic circle with holes that allows the liquid to mid all around the container. The plastic lid has a small opening at the top with a cap that you can place over it. This is so much easier than whisking items, and it's really convenient for washing and storage. I always put this in the dishwasher, on the top shelf, and I never had a problem with it melting or the measurement markings washing off the side of the container. Also, tupperware products are really affordable, so it wasn't a big investment to buy this quick shake container.

By far one of my favorite Tupperware products! This "Quick Shake" product is like a manual blender on the go. Another plus of this great product? Dishwasher safe! I started using this to mix those "hard to mix" protein shakes and powders. This does much better than the "blender ball" type mixers sold at most of the vitamin stores. Since purchasing this product, I have found so many other uses for it, tat I had never anticipated when I purchased this product a few years ago. I have used my Tupperware "Quick Shake" to even make salad dressings. Homemade milkshakes are also great with this for kids, a couple of scoops of ice cream and some milk, shaken and poured makes for some happy kids! This is also great for family gatherings to take along your favorite homemade dressings or marinades, in a leak proof container! It is also a plus to have the Tupperware warranty, and their great customer service. These also make great gifts for just about anyone on your list, for any occasion!

This is such a great little shaker! I use it all the time! I actually don't use this for making protein or diet shakes. I usually make those in my blender so I can incorporate ice into them. however, I do use this for quickly mixing up a salad dressing or marinade and it works perfectly. Everything seals super tight so you can shake to your heart's content without worrying about leaking and spraying vinegar and oil all over the kitchen. This also works wonderfully for mixing instant pudding. The markings on the side make it super easy to measure your ingredients directly into the container which saves time and dishes. And there is no worry about making a salad dressing one day and a pudding the next as the plastic does not collect odors and tastes. So your vanilla pudding will not taste like pesto. I highly recommend this for those with tiny kitchens as it does so much for such a small item.

I use my Tupperware Quick Shake container very often because I like to make homemade marinades and salad dressings and vinaigrettes. This container makes preparing these items a cinch because I can simply measure the ingredients into the container and give it a few shakes and I'm done. This container eliminates the splashes on the counter that I sometimes would encounter while vigorously whisking some new concoction I was creating in a mixing bowl. Plus, I can shake it one-handed while moving from one part of the kitchen to the other completing tasks with my free hand. It has definitely been a more convenient and time-saving way to make delicious marinades, salad dressings and vinaigrettes than any other methods I have tried in the past. It is one of my favorite housewarming gifts to give to friends who like to cook and bake as much as I do. I just purchase a new Tupperware shaker, print off a few of my favorite recipes and package it with kitchen towels and wash clothes that will compliment their kitchen decor and it is a big hit. They love it.

I use this shaker regularly to make protein shakes with powder and milk every morning. I shake it like crazy and doesn't leak from top at all. I have used similar shaker from several companies and some worked great while others didn't. I guess it depends on how well each one is made because same product from same company worked differently. My Tupperware shaker has been working perfect for a few months now. After I read good reviews, I bought separate one for gravy and salad dressing because I didn't want my morning refreshing shake to taste or smell like vinegar. I actually make crape batter and pancake batter too. I just love this versatile product and can recommend it for these purposes.

I love, love, love this this shaker! I use it for all kinda of stuff, salad dressing, or shakes, but mostly I use it to make a thickening for gravy! When I got married I said I HAVE to have one of these shakers! I wouldn't know how to make gravy without it! It's SO worth the price! I would recommend this product to anybody! One tip though...do not put hot/very warm water in this. I did that once and when you shake it the lid pops off and stuff flies everywhere! (Keep your finger on the lid while shaking :) and soak the lid in water as soon as your done using it, or it will be harder to clean..Other than that I LOVE this shaker! Everybody should have one of these!

I've been using this Tupperware Quick Shake Container since I was a little boy. To put that in some perspective, when I was a little boy the world was still black & white! I don't think that color was even invented yet. Seriously, we're talking about a really long time ago. If memory serves, my mom would whip up an instant malted using some powdered Carnation product, milk and some Fox's U-bet syrup every afternoon when I got home from school. It was a treat I always looked forward to. My present Tupperware Quick Shake Container is at least 20 years old and along with my shoe trees is one of the few things I took with me from my first marriage. That speaks well for this product's durability, if not for my divorce attorney's negotiating skill. These days, while I still use the Tupperware Quick Shake Container to make a quick shake, I find that I use this 16oz. seal-able container more often to help me with meal preparation. From making a salad dressing, to preparing a gravy, to making a cold-water corn starch mixture to use as a thickening agent, the Tupperware Quick Shake Container is invaluable. The Tupperware Quick Shake Container is exquisite in its simplicity. It's a durable 16oz. rugged plastic container with ounce and cup measurement markings on the outside and a snug-fitting plastic seal and pour top. Pour your ingredients in, snap the top on and shake it. Pop the sealed pour spout and pour your ingredients. It's that easy. Often it saves me the work of using and having to clean my 10-speed Osterizer when it's not absolutely necessary. **Clean-up** Although many claim that the snap-on lid should always be hand-washed, I always put the container and top in the top basket of my dishwasher. These days I use a Bosch Dishwasher that doesn't rely on a heated coil for drying, so I wouldn't expect to have a problem. But remember, this shake container is over 20 years old and I'm sure my old GE did have a heated coil. As long as I kept the lid on the to rack of the dishwasher I never had a warping problem. The Tupperware Quick Shake Container is one of the few low-tech kitchen gadgets I would really miss if it suddenly went missing. I highly recommend it.

It is funny I was reading some of the other reviews and they were talking about using this to make gravy and it of course does an excellent job at that. I have had mine Tupperware Quick Shake for somewhere close to 20 years. I got mine originally to mix up Slimfast shakes, you know where you put the powder in and then some milk and shake it up really good. It was easy to mix up a shake in the mix and shake and then drink it in the car on the way to work out of the mix and shake. Really there are lots of things you can shake up in there. If you have filtered water in your fridge and you want to mix up some Crystal Lite to go this is great for that too. You can even shake up eggs to scramble them in it. Really anything that needs to be shook or blended can go in the Tupperware Quick Shake Container. The container is a measuring cup and a container all together. It holds up to 16 oz of liquid. The lid has a pop up cap and it is domed shape. Of course the lid has the tight Tupperware seal. Never ever put any Tupperware lid in your dishwasher, they will melt slight and get slightly out of shape and that will ruin their tightness, this lid is no different. Most Tupperware products are dishwasher safe, but they last longer and will seal better if they are hand washed throughout their life cycle. The heat of the dishwasher can alter them just slightly over time but that slight alteration can make the different between a really tight seal and a not so tight seal, but for sure don't put the lids in the dishwasher. The Tupperware Quick shake is also the perfect shape to hold in your hand. It fits comfortably in your hand and is easy to hold on to and shake even for someone like me who has small hands. So weather you are making gravy, making shakes diet or protein shakes, or drinking cold beverages like Kool Aid or Crystal Light on the go the Tupperware Quick Shake is a hand thing to take along, or use at home.

I really like Tupperware's quick shake container. I really don't know too many people unfamiliar with this product. Most people I know have one for one reason or another. My mom always had one and so I've always had one. There is no easier method for making thickenings for gravies and sauces. The lid seals tight and so does the little lid for the spout. Just don't put warm water in with your thickening agent, or it might "explode" the top off and go everywhere - but that's not Tupperware fault! These are pretty durable although the marking seem to wear off quicker than I think they should. Also, the little lid seems to like to go down into the garbage disposal, as it comes off of the big lid fairly easily. I have had to replace my lid once or twice over 20 years - but Tupperware gives you replacements for free - it's their policy. Mine needed replacement because the little things the small lid snaps into broke over time. I do recommend this product, although getting your free replacement/parts can be a pain.

I have owned the Tupperware Quick Shake container for at least ten years! I use it so often that recently I purchased a second one to keep in my kitchen. I really like the measurments on the side of the quick shake container. The lid fits on perfectly and i have never had one leak or open while shaking the container. It has a 'wheel' in the lid area, that helps blend the ingredient together when shaking. I use the quick shake for milkshakes, whipping cream, beating eggs for scrambled eggs, mixing up small amounts of pancake batter (perfect for one of two people), and mixing up salad dressings. Perhaps one of the things I love most about Tupperware is their lifetime guarantee! The lid part of one of my quick shakes broke, I phoned the customer service department of Tupperware and they sent me a new lid for my quick shake container. Can't beat that for awesome customer service! I have nothing bad to say about Tupperware, the product is awesome as is their customer service.
